Cancer Awareness Talk at Mother Thersa Community College at Periyakuppam oilmil, Thiruvallur on 16-07-25

Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at at Mother Thersa Community College ( Nursing students) at Periyakuppam oilmil, Thiruvallur, attended by approximately 56 community members. The session focused on early detection and cancer prevention, with an emphasis on women’s health, highlighting the significance of Mammograms, Pap Smear tests, and the HPV vaccine.The speaker addressed critical topics including cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely detection, encouraging attendees to take proactive health measures. Participants were educated on how these preventive screenings can help reduce cancer risks and were empowered to make informed decisions for their well-being. The session aimed to create lasting impact by promoting awareness, encouraging early diagnosis, and fostering a culture of preventive healthcare in the community.
